ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
The primary responsibility of the Accounting Specialist is to ensure the prompt and precise processing of timesheets and invoices using VMS technology.

Provide excellent customer service and support to clients, addressing financial inquiries, resolving billing discrepancies, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Accurately process all timesheet adjustments (debits and credits) in the VMS.

Manage timesheet and expense entry reconciliation in the VMS from various sources.

Conduct thorough audits of all timesheets and expenses in accordance with client contractual billing rules.

Promptly research and resolve billing inquiries.

Generate invoices for all customers based on billing cycles, including hours worked and other revenue components such as travel expenses and overtime.

Review and process expense reports, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

Reconcile and track expenses and assist with expense analysis.

Maintain all required documentation for the processing cycle.

Run and analyze queries and reports for weekly processing.

Responsible for investigating and resolving all client inquiries promptly.

Adherence to deadlines and ability to prioritize multiple conflicting priorities.

Collaborate with the payroll department to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee payroll, including payroll tax calculations and deductions.

Identify and utilize technology, when possible, to streamline processes and procedures to be more efficient and effective. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in accounting technology.

Utilize accounting software and tools to manage financial transactions, generate reports, and maintain financial data integrity.
QUALIFICATIONS:

QuickBooks experience is required.

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office suite with advanced knowledge of Excel.

Minimum of 3 years of billing experience, preferably within the MSP/VMS staffing industry.

Adherence to deadlines and ability to prioritize multiple conflicting priorities.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & Finance and CPA designation preferred
